Amber's Awesome Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 137g Canola oil
- 250g Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 200g Milk
- 12.5g Baking powder
- 100g Couverture chocolate
- 30g Cocoa powder
- 200g Plain flour
- 200g Cream
- 250g Couverture chocolate
- 50g Milk
- 38g Butter
- 20g Canola oil
Method
- Beat eggs and sugar to ribbon stage
- Melt chocolate and oil
- Add milk to the egg mix, then add melted chocolate and oil
- Fold in all the dry ingrdients (sifted)
- Bake at 150 deg C for an hour
- To make ganache icing, boil cream and milk in a pot. Turn the heat off and add chocolate, butter and oil; stir well
