Never Fail Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 200g butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 3 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 cup hot strong coffee

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients, in the order given, into a large bowl
  2. Blend together until smooth
  3. Pour into a large tin, about 20 x 30cm
  4. Bake at 150 deg C (or fanbake 140 deg C) for about 1 hour
