Shirley's Blender Banana Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 cup wholemeal flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 100g butter
- 1 cup raw sugar
- 1 1/2 cups sliced bananas
Method
- Sift flours, baking powder and salt into a big bowl
- Blend milk mixed with baking soda, eggs, essence, butter cut into chunks, sugar and bananas
- Pour into flour mixture and mix gently together
- Cook in a greased and floured ring tin at 180 deg C for 40-50 minutes (check after 30 minutes)
- Leave in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out
Notes
Can substitute feijoas for bananas
