Tora Walk Lemon Cake
Ingredients
- 330g butter
- 2 2/3 cups sugar
- 2-3 lemons, cut into pieces
- 3 eggs
- 2 2/3 c flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup warm milk (or yogurt or sour cream)
Method
- Mix butter and sugar together in a food processor
- Add lemons, and process
- Add eggs, and process
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder and milk
- Pour in wet ingredients and mix well
- Bake at 180 deg C for about 50 minutes (cover with baking paper after 20 minutes to prevent the top getting burnt)
Notes
Can pour orange juice mixed with sugar over the cake once baked
