Tora Walk Lemon Cake

Ingredients

  • 330g butter
  • 2 2/3 cups sugar
  • 2-3 lemons, cut into pieces
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 2/3 c flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup warm milk (or yogurt or sour cream)

Method

  1. Mix butter and sugar together in a food processor
  2. Add lemons, and process
  3. Add eggs, and process
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder and milk
  5. Pour in wet ingredients and mix well
  6. Bake at 180 deg C for about 50 minutes (cover with baking paper after 20 minutes to prevent the top getting burnt)

Notes

Can pour orange juice mixed with sugar over the cake once baked
