Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

  • chicken breast, about 1/2 per person
  • hamburger buns
  • cranberry sauce
  • mayonnaise
  • cheese
  • tomato
  • lettuce
  • bacon
  • egg
  • salt & pepper

Method

  1. Sprinkle chicken breast with salt & pepper
  2. Fry on one side until golden brown
  3. Fry the other side until golden brown
  4. Split breasts in half, then fry the insides briefly, until cooked through
  5. Fry bacon until crisp
  6. Top each hamburger bun half with cheese; grill until toasted
  7. Fry one egg per person
  8. Spread bottom bun with cranberry sauce
  9. Top with chicken, then egg, bacon, tomato, and lettuce
  10. Spread top bun with mayo, then place on top
  11. Pierce with a long skewer, then serve

Notes

Can add any other ingredients if liked, eg avocado, beetroot
