Chocolate Self-Saucing Pudding
Ingredients
- ½ cup sugar
- ¾ cup flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp cocoa
- 55g butter
- 150mL milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 450mL milk.
Method
- Mix the first four dry ingredients together.
- Gently melt the butter in the first measure of milk; add vanilla essence and stir into the dry ingredients
- Pour the batter into a greased deep 1.5 litre dish (eg casserole dish).
- Mix together brown sugar and remaining cocoa and sprinkle over the top of the pudding.
- Gently pour over the second measure of milk.
- Bake for about an hour at 350deg°C
