Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
- 200g of dark cooking chocolate
- 70g of butter
- 300ml of cream
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- Baileys, Kahlua, whiskey etc… (about a shot glass full)
Method
- Beat the cream to soft peaks
- Beat the eggs and honey in a separate bowl until fluffy
- Melt chocolate and butter over a pot of simmering water
- Fold the ingredients together, adding any liqueur/liquor that you want (Baileys is good…)
- Put the mixture in the fridge until its set
Notes
It works well if you dish it out into glasses or individual servings of some sort before you put it in the fridge. White chocolate doesn’t seem to set as well (or stay as fluffy) as dark chocolate does
