Peach Chutney #2

Ingredients

  • 1 kg peaches, peeled, stoned and chopped
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3/4 c cider vinegar
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 1/2 c raisins
  • 1 T salt
  • 1 t ground allspice
  • 1/2 t ground cloves
  • 1 t ground ginger
  • 250g sugar

Method

  1. Put peaches and onions into a large casserole dish with 1/4 c of vinegar
  2. Microwave for 10 mins; mash roughly
  3. Add remaining ingreds
  4. Microwave for 10 mins; stand for 5 mins
  5. Pour into sterilised jars; seal with jam covers
