Peach Chutney #2
Ingredients
- 1 kg peaches, peeled, stoned and chopped
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 3/4 c cider vinegar
- juice of 2 lemons
- 1/2 c raisins
- 1 T salt
- 1 t ground allspice
- 1/2 t ground cloves
- 1 t ground ginger
- 250g sugar
Method
- Put peaches and onions into a large casserole dish with 1/4 c of vinegar
- Microwave for 10 mins; mash roughly
- Add remaining ingreds
- Microwave for 10 mins; stand for 5 mins
- Pour into sterilised jars; seal with jam covers
