Bread Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 packet spring vegetable soup
  • 1 bunch spinach or silverbeet
  • 1 tub sour cream (about 1 cup)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3-4 spring onions or shallots, chopped

Notes

  1. Mix in blender, then refrigerate for 2 hours.
  2. Leave an oval or round loaf of bread at room temperature for several hours to firm up.
  3. Cut off the top of the loaf, then cut the middle into hunks suitable for dipping.
  4. Put the dip mix back into the loaf, with the bread hunks around the outside.
  5. Use a second loaf, or crackers, for a crowd of people.
