Butter Chicken #2

Ingredients

  • 500g diced chicken
  • 50g butter
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1-2 onions, chopped
  • 1/2 t chilli powder
  • 1 t turmeric
  • 1 t cumin
  • 1 t nutmeg
  • 1/2 t garam masala
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 1/2 c cream mixed with some milk
  • 2 T tomato paste
  • 2-3 T brown sugar
  • handful frozen peas

Method

  1. Melt butter
  2. Add onion and garlic
  3. Cook with spices until soft
  4. Add tomato paste, sugar, peas and cream
  5. Stir in chicken
  6. Simmer 5-8 minutes
  7. Season with salt and pepper
