Butter Chicken #2
Ingredients
- 500g diced chicken
- 50g butter
- 3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1-2 onions, chopped
- 1/2 t chilli powder
- 1 t turmeric
- 1 t cumin
- 1 t nutmeg
- 1/2 t garam masala
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1/2 c cream mixed with some milk
- 2 T tomato paste
- 2-3 T brown sugar
- handful frozen peas
Method
- Melt butter
- Add onion and garlic
- Cook with spices until soft
- Add tomato paste, sugar, peas and cream
- Stir in chicken
- Simmer 5-8 minutes
- Season with salt and pepper
