Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp icing sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 90g butter, melted
- 6 eggs
- 75g butter, melted
- 3 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup brown sugar
- pinch salt
- 1 cup pecans
Method
- Process flour, icing sugar, baking powder, lemon juice and 90g of melted butter together
- Press into a large flan tin
- Process eggs, 75g melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla essence, brown sugar and salt together
- Arrange pecans in a pattern, then sink
- Bake at 180 degrees C for 25-30 mins until set

Serve small pieces with whipped cream
