Cherry Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients
- 250g butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup (250g) white chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup (150g) glace cherries, chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 170 deg C
- Coat 2 oven trays with baking paper
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy, then add the condensed milk; beat until pale and smooth
- Stir in vanilla, oats, flour and baking powder
- Stir in chocolate and cherries
- Place spoonfuls of mixture on trays; press flat with a wet fork
- Bake for 25-30 mins until golden brown
- Cool for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to cooling racks
