Shirley's Blender Banana Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white flour
  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 100g butter
  • 1 cup raw sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced bananas

Method

  1. Sift flours, baking powder and salt into a big bowl
  2. Blend milk mixed with baking soda, eggs, essence, butter cut into chunks, sugar and bananas
  3. Pour into flour mixture and mix gently together
  4. Cook in a greased and floured ring tin at 180 deg C for 40-50 minutes (check after 30 minutes)
  5. Leave in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out

Notes

Can substitute feijoas for bananas
